Daniel & Arthaud · Pet care in Geneva

Fewer dogs. More attention.

Day care, home boarding and walks in Geneva, shaped around each dog's pace, temperament and habits.

There are two of us, and we deliberately care for only a very small number of dogs at a time, usually two, in our own home, to keep everyday life calm and our attention genuinely individual. For several years now we've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments, taking their habits, their compatibility with other dogs and their day-to-day needs into account.

Our approach

Every dog is different. So is every day.

We don't apply the same routine to every dog. Age, temperament, energy level, habits, preferences and any particular needs shape how we look after each one.

01

Only a few at a time

We deliberately limit the number of dogs we take, so each one stays comfortable and gets real time with us.

02

Thoughtful introductions

We consider temperament, compatibility and individual needs before bringing dogs together. Introductions happen gradually, and we never push dogs into interacting.

03

Move, explore, think

Walks, exploring, scent work, play and enrichment: we look for the right balance between physical activity, mental stimulation and rest.

04

An individual approach

Puppy, adult or senior; very sociable, sensitive or simply full of energy: we adapt how we work to the dog in front of us.

Where appropriate, we can also follow routines or recommendations put in place with your dog's trainer or behaviourist.

A day with us

Days shaped around your dog

  • Explore

Neighbourhood walks, parks, woods or lakeside, depending on the dog and the day.

  • Move

Walks, play and activities suited to their age and energy level.

  • Think

Scent work, searching, enrichment games and mental stimulation.

  • Rest

Proper downtime and rest are just as much a part of the day.

No two days are quite the same. We adapt activities to each dog's age, temperament, habits and energy.

At our home

They live with us.

During their stay, your dog genuinely shares our everyday life in a home environment. There are no kennels or separate boarding areas: they live with us and have access to our living spaces, while keeping the routines, quiet time and familiar cues they need.

We deliberately care for only a small number of dogs at a time and take their temperament, habits and compatibility into account. Walks, exploring, play, quiet moments and rest all find their place naturally throughout the day.

Many of the dogs we care for return regularly. Over time, our home, routines and familiar faces become part of what they know and trust.

Living together

Meaningful interactions.

For dogs who enjoy the company of other dogs, sharing certain moments can be part of their stay too. We pay close attention to temperament and compatibility, introduce dogs gradually and give each of them the space to settle in at their own pace.

Some play together, while others are happiest simply walking, exploring or resting side by side. We never force social interaction: the aim is to create positive, appropriate and comfortable experiences for each dog.

Different needs

Finding the right balance for each dog.

Some dogs need plenty of movement, while others need help slowing down. Some are still young, less confident in certain situations or simply need more time, observation and consistency.

We adapt walks, activities, interactions and rest to the dog in front of us. The aim is not to impose a fixed programme, but to find a balance that suits them, combining physical activity, mental stimulation, new experiences, social interaction and calm.

When specific routines or training are already in place with their owner, trainer or behaviourist, we can follow those recommendations to maintain continuity.

Daniel & Arthaud

Two people. The same familiar faces.

We've been caring for dogs for years and have come to know very different personalities: puppies, adults and seniors; small and large dogs; very sociable dogs as well as more sensitive ones.

Being two gives us greater continuity and flexibility without making the care any less personal: your dog knows who's looking after them, and so do you.

Many of the dogs we care for return regularly - weekly, monthly or from one year to the next. That continuity allows us to genuinely get to know them: their habits, the small signals they give, what motivates them, what reassures them and how they respond to different situations.

Over time, we become familiar people in a familiar place for them - and a trusted point of reference for their owners.

Memories

And sometimes, beautiful photographs.

We regularly photograph the dogs we care for, during walks, discoveries and everyday moments. Some of those images also become lovely keepsakes that we're happy to share with their owners.

How it works

From first hello to coming home

01

You tell us about your dog

A few details about your dog, what you need, and the dates or frequency you have in mind.

02

We get to know each other

By phone, video call or in person. When appropriate, we can also arrange a trial walk or a short trial visit, giving your dog time to settle in and making sure everyone feels comfortable with the arrangement.

03

We prepare for their first visit

Once we have agreed that the arrangement is a good fit, you complete their profile: habits, diet, health, behaviour and useful contacts. We review it before their first visit.

04

They're with us

During their stay, we keep in touch through a dedicated WhatsApp group, regularly sharing updates, photos and videos from their day. When they go home, we also take the time to tell you how everything went.
